agents in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.they may be homopolymers of acryli acid, carbomers as white and fluffy powders .they have the ability to absorb,retain water and swell to many times their original volume.Carbomers codes(934,940,941and 1342)are an indication of molecular weight and the specific components of the polymer.

Application

For skin care products: hydrophilic thickening agent, stabilizing emulsifier, suspension agent, gel agent, with good
transparency,it needs to maintain medium to weak alkalinity to have consistency, so it cannot coexist with acid skin activating ingredients. Inaddition, Carbomer is also afraid of salt, so it cannot add mineral ions, otherwise the consistency will disappear, and it isirritating to eye mucosa.
